Arriving by plane?
Porto and Lisbon are at the same distance from Covilhã, therefore the choice of the airport should be made based on three criteria:
- The available flight
- Transport options from the airport to Covilhã
- What city to visit, if you have that goal

Transport options to Covilhã
From Porto
One of the simplest options (if available at the date that you arrive) is to take a subway from Airport to Porto (to 24 de Agosto stop) and then take the bus (Citi Express or similar).
Another option (if available at the date that you arrive) is to take a shuttle from Airport to Porto (to 24 de Agosto stop) using the getbus and then take the bus (Citi Express or similar).
From Lisbon
One of the simplest options (if available at the date that you arrive) is to take the subway (every 5 minutes) from airport to Orient and than take the train to Covilhã or take the bus (Citi Express or similar) towards Covilhã.
You can also take a shuttle from the airport to Sete Rios stop and then take the bus to Covilhã (Citi Express or similar)
